LEDnumer, a house number backlit by LEDs. Thanks to the use of fibre-optic technology and the phenomenon of total internal reflection, we have obtained a unique effect, illuminating digits with a delicate, coloured light. The house number itself is distinct and visible from a distance both during the day and at night, while the colour illuminating the digits may be matched to the colour of the elevation or selected according to personal taste. A dusk sensor switches on the backlighting automatically once twilight has fallen. Assembly of the number is quick and easy, requiring no specialist tools or qualifications. A pack contains two full sets of the digits 0-9 as well as material for the production of other characters.

Operating principle:
The solar cell charges the battery during
the day, while at night the energy from
the battery powers the LED illuminating the number. Illumination time varies with the
